The Cleveland Karate Institute is part of the Karate Institute of America -an open martial arts association that welcomes members from all different martial arts styles to participate in our tournaments and events. The primary function of the The Karate Institute of America is to assure consistant quality from all our Martial arts students.
As part of the KIA, our instructors take part in the instructor certification program. All of our classes are tought by "class A" certified instructors. To become a certified "Class A" instructors must attend classes through out the year, log in at least 60 teaching hours and be certified in CPR and frist aid. Most of our classes have several instructors and assistant instructors.
